RoHS Directive EU Directive 2002/95/EC
From July 1st,
2006 a new European
Directive came in to force. The
RoHS-(Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
Directive 2002/95/EC of the EU.
The RoHS
restricts the
use of
six hazardous
substances in
products sold into the EU:
Mercury
(Hg)
Cadmium (Cd)
Lead (Pb)
H Polybromated Biphenyle (PBB) Polybromated Diphenylether (PBDE) 2E (UK) agrees to the use of `green products` and is committed to conducting business in an environmentally friendly manner. We are currently working hard to ensure compliance. 2E (UK) is currently working closely with our suppliers to ensure that all 2E (UK) products are RoHS compliant.
